CHL is proud to announce the results of the children competition that was held on Sunday the 23rd of September in Valley Club Ayntoura. Without a doubt it was one of the best days for the young riders of CHL. The results of the day were as follow:

Yasmine Souaid  was placed 2nd in the P class on ( Walk and Trot)

Zafer El Hasan  was placed 3rd in the G class ( Gallop)

Nour Sehnawi  and Pauline Lassere  came 1st and 2nd respectively in the S class (60 cm)

Alex Mecataf  won the 1st place on Carenina in the N class (80 cm)

Congratulations to you all and keep up the good work.

Special thanks to Mrs. Mona Daher who hosted this event in her club and made it possible for the young riders to bloom on that day.

CHL rider Mohammed El Solh riding his horse Machallah won Gebran Tueni Cup in the Open 1 class in Mont La Salle Club.

The competition was held on Saturday 15th of September and was divided into two categories where 15 riders participated in the first category that was topped by Mohammed El Solh who was able to make two beautiful clear rounds.

CHL has the pleasure to inform its riders that Bohdan Jawaroski is scheduled to arrive to Lebanon on the 23rd of August until the 28th.

Mr. Jawaroski is an international show jumping rider and a silver medalist. He will be giving a 6 day clinic for CHL riders of all levels.

Congratulation to Jamil Ibrahim  the winner in the N Class on his horse Boomerang in Faqra Club on the 12th of August 2007.

Great clear round for Laura Gholam who was placed 2nd in the same class.

Mohammed El Solh was placed 3rd in the E class.

Excellent day for CHL riders as they all brought trophies to their club that day.

CHL organized a 5 day jumping clinic given by Mr. Volker Schmidt. Volker Schmidt  is an international course designer and an instructor of Eventing Class L, Dressage Class M and Show jumping Class S. Mr. Schmidt has built courses in Germany, Austria, Canada ( Spruce Meadow), Egypt, Malaysia, Hungary, Mexico, Syria and Lebanon.

CHL was very pleased to host Volker and the riders at the club learned so much in such a short period. The courses were divided into three parts; Beginners, intermediate and advanced.

CHL youngest competitor Laura Gholam  11 years old competed for the first time in Faqra Club with her horse Brouno on the 8th of July and was placed 1st in the N class.

Laura has been training for the last 18 months in CHL and has improved tremendously ever since.

Congratulation Laura for your first win and good luck for you in the years to come.
